Three Sisters Ride Map
Or is it the Twisted Sisters? I have heard both names but they both refer to a group of three farm to market roads arranged in a rough square in western Texas. Getting there and back is fun and so is the riding around the Three Sisters. This trip makes a great three day jaunt. All of our ride maps ( scroll to the bottom for this ride map ) can be found here.
Don't Forget the Texas Toy Run is coming up soon...
Don't forget that the Toy Run is coming up soon on December 20th. Riders will meet in Dallas, Fort Worth and Grapevine ( even though it is not listed - see the website for more details ). Toys and donations benefit Metrocare Services and MHMR of Tarrant County. If you don't have time for the ride, then drop off your donations at our store and we will make sure that they get delivered as part of the ride.
So, what did you think of the Motorcycle Show?
Did you get a chance to attend the Motorcycle Show? Sport Ryder Rentals had a booth there and it was fun talking to all the riders who stopped by our booth. It was also interesting seeing all of the new products that each manufacturer introduces at the show. I thought Ducati by far had the best booth but was disappointed not to see the new Multistrada at the booth. Ditto for BMW not attending for the second year in a row. I would think they would want to show off their S1000RR. The new Honda Interceptor was interesting to see and we can not wait to get our hands on this bike. Harley did not have much to show new this year having updated their touring platform so much for 2009. I was intrigued by the Stratoline Deluxe, but was somewhat disappointed in the view from the rider's seat into the back of the fairing as the bike seemed unfinished ( which is surprising for Star ). I have never been a big fan of Victory, but the new Cross Country got this right over the Yamaha. So what did you notice? Send us your comments here...
